The expertise and experience of your automation engineer

GDN Automation is the company of automation engineer Glenn De Neef.

Glenn started his career as measurement control technician at Amcor Flexibles. His job: keeping the machinery running and solving electrical or software problems if a machine failed. He gained much experience of processes from simple PID controls to the complex control of the total concept of a machine.

He then worked for many years as an application engineer at B&R Automation. There his specialisation was motion technology.

At B&R he also accrued much CNC and robotics experience:

• Control of a gantry system (a moving crane with two motors)
• Synchronously controlling axes with a CAM profile or self-calculating interpolation
• Control of a robot with kinematic transformations
• High profile interpolation calculation
• Setting a motion application on the basis of a frequency analysis
• Control of two mass systems with very high end result accuracy (tolerance less than 10µ)

At B&R Glenn built up good cooperation with Staubli, a robot supplier with whom he carried out various tests for customers of B&R.

Since April 2014 Glenn has been independently developing software for machines. He still works closely with B&R. But you can now also directly approach him for your motion, CNC and robots.
